Do it later
If I have to tell one thing which is most important in life. This would be procrastination or rather in simple words it would habit of postponing things . What happens with simple things we post pone them very easily cause we don't understand real importance of them. We think of that it is such simple and easy task that I can do it any time but what we don't understand is that simple task does not mean we can easily do it. This is one of the contradiction or paradox. This is because the way our brain works and how it has been evolve in many years. We think of simple things as these can be done in any time in hand , so we really under estimate it. And what happens with difficult tasks is we over estimate and make it so big that we fear to even start it.
This policy of doing later is really dangerous. What we can do for this ? We can either maintain a list as in order to avoid forgetting and we can do easy tasks firstly so we don't just forget them or just keep in mind and worry about that I have to do this and that. There is even many books came on how to stop procrastinating or how to be more productive. One easy way is to eat that frog first technique or 1 step policy.
The first book which is eat that frog is written by brian tracy . In this book Brian tell us about how we can become more productive by doing the most difficult task which is troubling in our mind most of time. By doing so we make our pressure less as there are mostly two or three tasks which are most important to us and worrying us most among other tasks. By so we do start our day to become productive and feel more productive at start of day which makes other tasks to look simple as we have done most difficult tasks at start of day which make us feel that we can others easily and we have overcome most important task to not troubling our brain. We have made troubling work at start and put our brian in active phase and in flow other tasks seems really small which is key concept behind it.
Second book is take just one step . It is about concept that we have to just start. When we just start by reading one page of book or writing simple two or three lines or just doing 2 push ups what we do is that we trigger our brain that we have done something good or at least we make ourself feel more positive or productive and this rushes adrenaline and triggers us to do more stuff.
In this way we can make ourself more productive or make habits to manage our tasks in better way.
